“A new reportfrom the University of Illinois and the Pew Internet & American Life Project, Information Searches That Solve Problems, reveals that 58 percent of respondents who experienced a specific problem (for example, health issues, tax matters, local government, legal questions) that needed to be researched turned to the Internet for assistance. Thirteen percent used the library for answers, and 64 percent reported that the use of the library was ‘very successful.’”
