Talis Cybrary Island - is a large piece of land (sim) within Second Life that intends to provide a space for computer, library and information science communities who are new to Second Life. The Alliance Library System (www.alliancelibrarysystem.com) supported the acquisition, Talis (www.talis.com) funded the monthly rental costs, and cAliCo Information Consulting (www.calicoinfo.net) funded the land purchase … so, there you go (if you’rea 2nd lifer, that is. Grand opening is 5th March.
