I’ve had to figure out how to turn off Beacon in Facebook, as it was asking to send info to my Facebook profile when I was playing games on what must be a partner site in America. I didn’t even know it affected UK users yet! Iwas having to tell it ‘no’ for only a few games though - odd.
To turn it off:
Privacy >
News Feed and Mini Feeds >
Actions on External Websites >
Tick box marked “Don’t allow any websites to send stories to my profile.”
Save changes.Just in case anyone else wants to get rid of it and hasn’t done this already!
