Just reading interesting case involving guy transfering work contacts to LinkedIn to start own business . Just a pre action disclosur but interesting example of how social-networking websites can be used to transfer confidential information and how employers address such issues. Case is Hays Specialist Recruitment (Holdings) Limited and Another v Ions and Another [2008] EWHC 745. (not on Bailli yet)

High Court has quashed a decision by the information Tribual to make the governemnt hand over thier gateway reviews on the ID card scheme. Court says Tribunal made a mistake including evidence from parliamentary select committee in its case which could be seen to breach parliamentary privelidge.

Just got facebook message from the guy behind preCydent. First saw this a few weeks back, a US based legal search tool. Has some promise, and love the youtube demo, esp about 4 mins in when he slates Westlaw and Lexis for relevance. Class.
