A librarian’s response to a user’s “challenging” of a children’s book dealing with gay marriage. It’s a really thoughtful response to a thorny issue.

Very Good. Almost as entertaining as ‘Lou’ who comments and doesn’t really agree with the approach as he outlines on his blog.
As someone points out Lou is not a stranger to internet fame having been been banned from Wikipedia, and having his opinions ridiculed on Reddit.

Lou’s great. Just been looking at other posts on his site – full of hidden pearls of wisdom. Although back to the argument over the book. Since when were guinea pigs were allowed to get married, straight or gay?? I agree we should not be promoting guinea pig marriage. We soon get on a slippery slop and next thinkgyou know, it’ll be Squirrels and the like.
