A friend of mine just pointed out US v Charles Thomas Allen, II, a 6th Circ. Ct. of Appeals case decided 2/5/08. It’s about “college buddies (19-20 years old) who hatched a plan to steal rare books from the special collections library at Transylvania University (Lexington, KY) and sell them at auction in New York City.”
